Zenon Dance Zone
Spring Showcase

Featuring new works by Guest Choreographers
Elsie Myers Martin and Stephanie Narlock
The
Dance Zone is an intensive study & performance program of the Zenon
Dance School that offers adult students the opportunity to study with
first-rate instructors, work with area choreographers, and perform in a
studio concert at the end of the session.
Elsie Myers Martin'
background in mathematics informs her choreography. She views dance, or
movement, as an art form for presenting information, relationships, and
patterns in a new way.
Stephanie Narlock's videography has been
presented at the Dance for Camera Festival in Minneapolis and Germany.
She has performed for Black Label Movement, Dancing People Company,
Cynthia Guitierrez-Garner, Jeffrey Peterson, Christopher Williams,
Bryan Gerber, Noah Bremer, and others.
Also featuring work by student choreographers
Missa Kes, Wayne
Nealis, Eli Ebbenga, Ellen Dunn and Starla Larson. The evening is
rounded out with students from Zenon's Intermediate
Tap class,
Intermediate Modern class, and Partnering/Contact Improvisation class.
